Welcome to JR Studio! By accessing or using this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you should not use this website or our services.
This website is operated by JR Studio, based in Kells, Co. Meath, Ireland. All content on this site, including images, text, branding, and design, is the property of JR Studio and is protected by copyright laws.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this site to distribute harmful content, breach security, or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the website.
- A non-refundable booking fee (also referred to as a deposit) is required to secure your session date and time. This amount is deducted from the total session/package cost.
- No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received. Dates remain open to other enquiries until this payment is made.
- The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session, or by the agreed payment schedule for weddings and events.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, card payment (if applicable), or other methods as outlined in your confirmation email.
- Prices listed are subject to change without notice but will not affect already confirmed bookings.
• A wedding date is only secured once a booking fee has been received.
• The booking fee is non-refundable and secures your date exclusively in my calendar. This amount is deducted from the final balance.
• Due to the nature of wedding photography, bookings and payments confirm agreement with these terms whether a signed contract is in place or not.
• Final balances must be paid before or on the wedding day unless agreed otherwise in advance.
• Coverage times are approximate and based around the natural flow of the day.
• All delivered images are professionally edited in the style and standard represented throughout my portfolio and social media. Extensive retouching or additional editing requests outside normal editing may incur an additional charge. RAW or unedited images are not supplied.
• Sneak peek images may be shared shortly after your wedding. Full galleries are delivered within the timeframe discussed during consultation and booking. Please note that turnaround times may be longer during busy wedding periods and peak seasons.
• Couples are welcome to print and share their images for personal use.
• In the very unlikely event of serious illness, injury, or circumstances beyond control, every effort will be made to arrange suitable replacement coverage or refund monies paid.
• By booking JR Studio, couples acknowledge they are familiar with my photography style and editing approach shown across my website and social media.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
- Booking fees are strictly non-refundable, regardless of reason.
- Sessions may be rescheduled once, provided a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is given and the new date is mutually agreed.
- If JR Studio needs to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness or emergency), we will do our utmost to provide an alternative date.
- If cancelled, JR Studio is under no obligation to refund as the date had been secured, and other business turned away due to the booking
- Images will be professionally edited and delivered in line with the timeframes outlined in your contract.
- Busy seasons (such as summer weddings & Christmas time) may result in longer delivery times.
- JR Studio is not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond control (illness, equipment failure, acts of God, etc.).
- All images remain the copyright of JR Studio.
- Clients receive personal usage rights, which means you can share images with friends and family or post them online (with credit where appropriate).
- Images may not be sold, altered, or used commercially without written permission.
- JR Studio reserves the right to use images for promotional purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• Clients are expected to behave respectfully during all sessions and interactions. Abusive, threatening, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour towards staff, clients, or property may result in the session being ended immediately without refund.
• Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times during studio or on-location sessions. While guidance may be given to help achieve natural photographs, JR Studio cannot be held responsible for a child’s behaviour, cooperation, safety, or supervision during the session.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children are appropriately dressed and prepared for their session. Minor adjustments may be made where appropriate during photography, however full responsibility remains with the parent or guardian throughout the session.
• Young children and pets must be supervised at all times during studio sessions. Photography equipment, lighting stands, props, cables, and electrical equipment may present hazards if not used correctly. A small play area is provided for children, and parents or guardians are expected to ensure children remain within safe supervised areas when not being photographed.
• Clients are responsible for any damage caused through misuse, negligence, or lack of supervision during a session. Repair or replacement costs for damaged studio equipment, props, furniture, or property may be charged where appropriate.
JR Studio takes the utmost care with your images and sessions. However, in the rare event of loss, damage, or unforeseen issues, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.
We do our best to ensure all information on this site is accurate and up to date. However, JR Studio accepts no liability for errors or omissions and reserves the right to update or correct content at any time.
All personal information collected through the website or in-person is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in line with GDPR.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Irish courts.
