At JR Studio, I operate by appointment because, let's face it, I can't be in two places at once (yet). Whether I'm capturing the perfect shot, at a wedding (hopefully not my own), or just off on an adventure, appointments keep everything running smoothly. Book ahead, and I'll find a time that works—yes, even on weekends because weekdays need love too!
Alright, let's dive into the deposit world—it's like our security handshake. To prevent any last-minute vanishing acts, I do require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit for bookings. If life throws you a curveball and you need to move things around, your deposit stays safe and sound.
Now, about that deposit amount—it's like a custom fit, tailored to what you're booking. You've got a cool 3-day grace period to decide without a deposit, but after that, consider it a gentle nudge. If the deposit isn't squared away, well, no booking shenanigans.
Let's keep it straightforward and solid, shall we?
Depending on your session, your wait time can vary as much as our camera angles. 🕒
For standard studio shoots, we'll have you smiling within 2-3 weeks—because good things come to those who click. 📷 If it is a wedding or an event, fear not! I'll have those memories developed in 2 to 3 months, ensuring every moment is picture-perfect. 🎉
📸 Attention All Passport Hopefuls! 🛂
While I don't snap those "deer in headlights" mugshots for passports, licenses, or visas (sorry, not sorry), I do offer the Rolls Royce of headshots for your professional endeavors! 🎩 Starting at just €85, my headshot packages are like a spa day for your face—impeccable lighting, angles that scream "hire me," and a touch of elegance that says "I mean business."
So, if you're tired of looking like a confused tourist in your ID photos and ready to unleash your inner CEO, swing by my studio. Let's capture the version of you that says, "I'm here to conquer the world, one perfectly framed headshot at a time!"
But feel free to do one of the above during this package! Might as well!!
A: Ah, the infamous "perfect shot" request! I totally get it – who wouldn't want that flawless, magazine-cover-worthy picture straight off the bat? But here’s the scoop: photography isn’t a one-click miracle. It's more like a delicious recipe that takes time to get just right.
Think about it – getting everyone looking sharp and camera-ready? That’s an art in itself! I spend time carefully posing, adjusting, and making sure every hair is in place (well, almost every hair). And after that, there’s the joyful task of sifting through all those fabulous shots to find THE one that speaks to you.
Plus, let’s be real – everyone’s got their own vibe when it comes to what looks good. That’s why I offer packages, so you can take your time choosing the photos that truly capture your essence. It’s like a buffet of awesome images just waiting for you to dig in!
So while I can’t promise the perfect shot in one click, I can promise an experience that’s as fun and memorable as the photos themselves. Let’s capture some magic together!
"Ah, framing and frame repairs? That's a niche I leave to the pros. I've got the details to those who specialise in making your photos look like a million euros! As for repairs, I believe in letting frames live out their natural lives—no frame ICU here!
If you're after a quick fix and don't want the hassle of juggling other contacts, I can snag something online for you. I don't mark up prices, but time is money, folks. Our clock starts ticking when you say go!"
I pride myself on being as flexible as a contortionist with a yoga habit when it comes to accommodating my clients. However, to ensure I can provide you with the best experience possible, I do ask for at least one week's notice for bookings. For those extra-special cake smash photos or other extensive shoots, I kindly request a minimum of two weeks' advance notice. Don't worry though, I'm not one to turn away the spontaneous types – just give me a shout and let's see what magic we can work out!"
I hear you loud and clear! Whether it's a grand gala or a cozy gathering, my commitment to capturing your big day remains steadfast. My packages are all about delivering top-notch coverage and editing, ensuring your memories are as polished as your dance moves. So, feel free to invite the whole town or keep it intimate—my prices are set to reflect the time and talent invested, not the headcount at your soirée. After all, every wedding deserves the red carpet treatment, even if it's just your closest mates and your pets (if that's your thing)!
Ah, the elusive 'walk-in for any job'—sounds like the title of a blockbuster movie! 🎬 While I don't have an instant cloning machine or a magic wand (yet), I don't provide a quick print service. If it's something urgent like a bereavement, count on me to move mountains! For everything else, I'm open by appointment—feel free to drop by the studio, just give a shout beforehand. And if you catch me mid-photo session, please be mindful, and do not walk in, as I could be doing awful dance moves to try and make my family smile!
Yes I do call outs. An extra charge is added onto your package and price varies on your location.
Here at JR Studio I like to be upfront with my clients. Before you enter our Studio or I call out to you, you will know exactly what you are paying for. There are no surprise extortionate extras. If you want more than what is stated in your packages I will send you prices. There are no forced purchases. I also keep your files in case you ever want to buy more in the future.
At JR Studio, I am all about efficiency without sacrificing excellence. I believe in capturing those priceless smiles and magical moments swiftly, because let's face it—kids have the attention span of a goldfish juggling cupcakes. So, while I skip the in-person viewing (who needs more sitting, right?), I send you the cream of the crop straight to your inbox. It's like Christmas morning, but with fewer awkward family photos.
I completely understand the curiosity about raw files, but rest assured—you're receiving only the best of the bunch. My edited photos are carefully picked to showcase your best angles and expressions, ensuring every image is a masterpiece. Raw files, on the other hand, are like the uncut footage—unedited, unrefined, and sometimes showing moments we'd all prefer to forget!
Just to clarify, I never send out all the raw files unedited. That's like showing the world your blooper reel without the benefit of editing out those half-blinks or unexpected interruptions. I am all about delivering the final, polished product that you'll cherish. So, kick back, enjoy the refined selections, and leave the raw stuff to me—we've got it all under control!
Absolutely! I'm here to work my Photoshop magic, but think of me as your photo editor, not a digital plastic surgeon. I send you your rough edits first, once you've picked your favorites, I'll polish them till they shine brighter than the sun we never see! If we're talking major Photoshop surgery, there might be a small extra charge. Let's make those photos stand out without breaking the bank!
We have plain colour backdrops in the studio such as black, white and Slight Yellow/Orange.
For Black backdrop, stick with solid colours. Patterns can take the focus of the viewer away from the face, and may make the portrait look too busy. A solid color shirt works best. Avoid overly bright colors like yellow and orange which can give your skin an unpleasant hue in a photo. Against a black background, a darker color such as royal blue or green works well. A darker gray or a denim shirt will also show up well against a black background. If there's multiple people in your shoot, try to coordinate the clothing that is worn (This goes for any backdrop). You do not need to wear matching outfits, but should try to wear clothing of similar colors so that one doesn't stand out more than another. Try denim shirts in different shades of blue or shirts in slightly different shades of grey.
For White Backdrop, stay away from white or light colors. Consider jewel colours like emerald or sapphire blue. Purple, green, red or orange can work well too. If you want something more neutral, a medium to dark grey can work. Again, try to stay away from heavily patterned outfits. Keep it simple with any design such as flannel shirts etc. Solid coulours always make the subject stand out more. Children look happier in brighter colours but always keep the colour of the background in mind.
For our fun slight yellow / Orange backdrop, the colors that pair well with blues (Denims), browns, beiges, burgundy, white or purple. An example of a good combination for these colours for a good contrast are White and blue.
We will never use your photos for advertising purposes without asking. Please let us know in advance if you would not like your photos to be used on social media. If it's not discussed the day of the shoot we will contact you for permission.
